Healing Behind the Platform

There’s something people don’t always realize about healing: it doesn’t stop because you become visible.
Just because you see me on a stage, speaking life, encouraging women, or walking in purpose does not mean I have arrived. It does not mean every wound is fully healed or every lesson has been mastered.
I am still becoming.
I still have moments where I need clarity. I still have areas where God is refining me. I still battle emotions, uncertainty, and the temptation to respond to noise that doesn’t deserve access to me.
That is why I chose to fast.
Not for appearance. Not for performance. Not to prove anything to anyone.
I chose to fast because sometimes the loudest thing in your life isn’t people,
it’s distraction.
Social media can be beautiful, but it can also become noise. Opinions become noise. Comparison becomes noise. Constant access becomes noise.
And when noise gets loud, purpose gets harder to hear.
So I stepped away.
I’m learning that fasting is not just about what you remove, it’s about what you make room for.
I’m making room for peace.
I’m making room for healing.
I’m making room for discipline.
I’m making room for God’s voice again.
If you’ve been watching me from afar, know this: I’m not pretending to be perfect. I’m committed to being real.
The Becoming H.E.R. journey isn’t about arriving polished. It’s about surrendering daily.
And right now, in this season, becoming looks like quiet.
